Buses to replace trains between Chichester and Havant

Southern says buses will replace trains between Chichester and Havant from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30.
An announcement at www.southernrailway.com/service-updates/service-updates said Havant re-signalling works are set to take place this week, affecting several routes.
Southern said: “Engineering work is taking place between Guildford / Chichester / Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour, closing all lines.”
On South Western Railway, buses will replace trains between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour.
The company said about Southern services: “Buses will replace trains between Chichester and Havant / Portsmouth Harbour / Southampton Central. Southern trains between Chichester and Brighton will run to an amended timetable.”
Southern said the work is part of the Havant re-signalling programme and the next phase of the wider Portsmouth Direct Upgrade.
