'That's what I have been asking for' - This is the moment that impressed Crawley Town boss Colin Kazim-Richards most in Bromley win
There were many top moments during Crawley Town’s impressive win against Bromley in the Jersey Mikes Trophy.
Vito Mannone’s two saves from Jodi Jones in the first half, Stephen Duke McKenna’s two stunning strikes, and number of top individual performances – there’s a lot to choose from in the 4-0 win.
But Colin Kazim-Richards’ best bit was none of those. Part way through the second half, keeper Mannone was flattened by a Bromley player.
Charlie Barker was first on the scene to have a word with the culprit before the whole team all piled in to protect the keeper and have their say.

And this team spirit is what pleased the Reds boss most in a much-needed win.
"For me, away from the four goals and the win, I'll be honest with you, the best part of the game for me was seeing our boys run over and help our keeper when he got hit in the head.
“That's what I've been asking for from day one. That's the best part of the game for me, seeing all 11 guys run and protect their goalkeeper. That was top.”
Reds are back in league action on Saturday when they host Chesterfield at the Broadfield Stadium.
