Three Bridges manager Paul Faili reckons he still needs to sign another two top players to strengthen his team.

He is working on finding the last two pieces of his jigsaw over the next two weeks.

This follows a last minute goal conceded on Saturday which sealed a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Merstham.

He said: “We were unlucky and I think a draw would have been a fair result.

“The first half we gave to them on a plate but in the second half we attacked better.”

However Faili is pleased with the way younger players from the Bridges academy sides are supporting the squad. Bridges currently run a Ryman Under-21s League team, an under-19s academy team in the Conference U19s League plus another in the Ryman Under-18s League. They are still accepting applicants.

Faili said: “The academy is going very well. The youngsters are the future at Three Bridges and are a great support mechanism.”
