Ex-Walsall, Newport County and Scunthorpe striker one of two unveiled by Bognor Regis Town
Danny Hollands has recruited defender Ben Sheaf and striker Jake Scrimshaw to boost his options as we head towards the Isthmian South Central division campaign kick-off.
Left-back Sheaf, 19, is formerly of Southampton Academy and U18s as well as Aldershot U23s.
Scrimshaw, 25, who spent last term at East Cowes Victoria, had a spell in the youth ranks at AFC Bournemouth before playing for the likes of Eastleigh, AFC Totton, Poole and Gosport Borough as well as AFC Stoneham.
Fans may see the new players in action when Bognor host Chichester City on Saturday in our final pre-season friendly match, kick off 1pm.

Scrimshaw has all the attributes to provide the additional firepower Rocks bosses believe they need in readiness for their Isthmian South Central division challenge.
That's the belief of Rocks No.2 Ben Kneller after he penned a deal at Nyewood Lane as boss Danny Hollands puts the finishing touches to assembling his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Scrimshaw spent last term at East Cowes Victoria and previously he had spells at Eastleigh, AFC Totton, Poole, Gosport Borough and AFC Stoneham. Yet it is his stints at Football League clubs such as Walsall, Newport County and Scunthorpe United that convinced the Nyewood Lane management that the attacker has the requisite pedigree to enhance the Bognor vanguard.
Add to that his time as a professional at AFC Bournemouth following a successful period in the Cherries' youth ranks, and it is easy to see why there is optimism in the camp.

Assistant manager Kneller explained: "We have told Scrimmy to come in and enjoy his football. He has bags of talent and we are keen to be able to unlock that ability because there is a fantastic footballer in there.
"He is fit as a fiddle, can run all the day and when you think about the league clubs who had him then there is definitely a case for us believing that he has the capability to come in and be a real asset for us.
“We want Bognor to be his new home where he works hard and is appreciated by our fans and in turn we get the best out of him. We're really looking forward to working with him." Kneller says understanding the player’s character has been key to obtaining his services. He added: “I’m aware others had had Scrimmy in, but have they understood his needs and worked with him, been honest and talked it through? Or have they expected an instant return? That’s not how it works.
“We both understand this process and we hope to be able to use it to help the club benefit from Scrimmy’s undoubted talent.”
