Easily held low Bernardo shot and pushed away fizzing Sterling cross in the first half. No real chance for any of the goals.
Club captain's final game after he announced his retirement on Friday. Won the ball off Mahrez in opening minute to a loud cheer. Huge ovation when subbed.
Blocked Aguero shot early on. Headed clear several crosses.
Threw himself in the way to block Gundogan shot on 20 minutes. Fierce free kick pushed over by Ederson late in the first half and headed opening over in the second period.
Another assured display from the Brazilian left-back who had his work cut out against Mahrez and Bernardo Silva.
First start since his sending-off in the 5-0 defeat to Bournemouth last month. Lovely pass set Jahanbakhsh away early on. Did not see enough of the ball.
Made a superb recovery tackle to deny Bernardo after losing the ball early on. Tidy display in the middle of the park.
Came into the starting line-up for Dale Stephens. Worked hard to combat the threat of City's midfielders.
Corner set up Murray to give Brighton the lead. Hard-working display. Looked to provide creativity in the final third.
Cut in and fired wide of the near post from 20 yards after ten minutes, otherwise struggled to have much impact offensively.
Headed Albion into the lead from Gross corner. Lost his man which allowed Laporte to make it 2-1. Tough task leading the line on his line but worked hard to hold the ball up.
