Meet Logan – a Jack Russell Terrier full of life and enthusiasm, who is looking for a new home.

The sweet one-year-old is deaf, which although doesn’t affect his playful character or super smart brain, it means that he will be looking for an understanding family who can offer him plenty of patience.

He would be especially keen to find a family that can continue teaching him fun new tricks and skills using sign-language, as has already made great progress with his training since arriving in the care of Dogs Trust.

Having had little experience around new people and other dogs, the sweet Jack Russell can be sensitive at times and will need ongoing support to help develop his confidence.

While he likes to get to know people at his own pace, Logan’s carer’s say that he is the most affectionate and loving little dog who will love nothing more than snuggling up on your lap for cuddles once he’s made friends with you.

Just as active in mind as he is in energy levels, Logan enjoys any activity that keeps his busy brain stimulated.

He especially appreciates food puzzles to solve, a long-lasting chew to gnaw on, or playing fun ‘find it’ games with his toys.

Logan must be the only pet at home, and will need to live in an adult-only household, with gradual introductions to any visitors.

A garden of his own is essential, as he will need to build up going for his walks over time, and only once he is fully settled in at home.

A local home, within a two-hours’ drive to Dogs Trust Shoreham rehoming centre is essential, and a family who have experience with deaf dogs would be ideal.

Dogs Trust Shoreham’s rehoming centre is situated in Brighton Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5LT.
