Arundawn has lots of dogs looking for their forever homes in Sussex.

Arundawn Dog Rescue, based in Horsham, focuses largely on providing rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming for strays from across the country who are sadly facing euthanasia through no fault of their own.

All the dogs below haven’t had the best starts to life – but that could all change soon.

He would ideally need a home with at least one other dog as he loves to play. The charity said he is a little wary of men initially but soon makes friends. He will need someone who is prepared to dedicate some time to basic training.

Daisy was found tied to a tree just three days before giving birth. She has reared nine babies and is ready to flee the nest, according to Arundawn. Daisy has been described as the 'most awesome dog' and is calm, affectionate and well-mannered. She is seeking a home with or without another dog - but with the ability to separate and do slow and careful introductions with any resident canines. Arundawn describes her as a 'spectacular' dog.

It's believed they are made up of a mix of Beddlington and Wheaten Terriers, plus Whippet and possibly some Bull Breed! The charity says they will make great family pets. They'd be happiest with activities to keep them busy, such as agility or scent work. The pups will be looking for their homes once they're fully vaccinated.​

Maggie is a delightful and happy girl who is looking for a active home. She would love a family who enjoy walks and getting out and about. She is good with other dogs so could share a home with a friend but would be equally happy to be an only pet, according to the rescue. She cannot be rehomed with cats. Maggie is described as a 'bright and engaging dog' and is doing well in foster after being found as a stray. She loves to play and do zoomies with her canine friends.
