Enjoy Arundel’s beautiful blooms
It has come into full flower following a hugely successful Tulip Festival and features seats made from carved out tree stumps from the local Norfolk Estate for visitors to sit and enjoy the beautiful blooms.
Seven different wildflower varieties have bloomed including the bright red Shirley Poppy (Pavader rhoeas), yellow Californian Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) the blue Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus), and purple Fairy Toadflax (Linaria maroccana).

Hide AdIn the Cut Flower Garden, a tremendous display of Babylon Dahlias have also come into blossom, standing proud at over 1 metre tall, with flowers the size of dinner plates. Perfectly complementing the Dahlias, brightly coloured Clematis, Rudbeckia and Echinacea flower are also showcased.
Other delights include the upside down Stumpery with pink Angel Fishing Rod Flowers (Dierama pulcherrimum), and the Organic Kitchen Garden which is positively bursting with produce, as well as the Collector Earl’s Garden which is full of tropical colour including African Queen Lillies.
Head Gardener Martin Duncan commented: “We’ve been getting great feedback from visitors this season who are coming in their droves to see our vibrant displays. I’m particularly proud of the new Wildflower Garden which has been getting the best reviews; nothing makes me happier than to see the smiles of our visitor’s faces as they discover this new area.”
The highlight of the Arundel Castle events calendar, the lnternational Jousting & Medieval Tournament which started on Tuesday July 21 and ends this Sunday , July 26.
