Following the huge success of Opera At Sunset at the Brighton Open Air Theatre last month, the company will be bringing the show to the Eastbourne Bandstand for one performance on Monday, July 27 at 7.45pm.
The show, devised and conducted by Simon Gray, will be a programme of arias, ensembles and choruses from popular and lesser-known operas featuring a cast of experienced opera singers.

The programme will include such favourites as The Brindisi from La Traviata; the well-loved duet from The Pearl Fishers; the Flower Duet from Lakme; the Love Duet from Madama Butterfly; the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Nabucco; and Nessun Dorma from Turandot.
The cast includes Karen Orchin, Veronica Brooks (sopranos), Hilary Andrews (mezzo soprano), Matt Connolly (tenor) and Simon Wilson (baritone). Guest performer is Lindsey McKee, a soprano based in Missouri, USA where she has worked across the Midwest performing in musical theatre, opera and concerts, including appearances with the Lyric Opera, Union Avenue Opera Theatre and the St Louis Philharmonic.
The soloists will be backed by a chorus of 30 singers.
