Eastbourne welcomes Coronation Street legend and serial killer
A talk by actor Brian Capron
Members of the public are invited to listen to a talk by actor Brian Capron, who became a Coronation Street legend as serial killer Richard Hillman, when he speaks at Anderida Writers' meeting in the Garden Suite of the Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne on Tuesday, September 8 at 7.30pm.
In addition to providing anecdotes about his career, and answering questions, Brian will give advice on script-writing, as well as the importance of authors obtaining endorsements and forewords for their books, having written several himself.
Guests are welcome to attend for a fee of £5, and further details can be obtained from Anderida chairman Tony Flood at [email protected] or by phoning him at 01323 471726.
Anderida's Patron Tamara McKinley, Vice Chairman Nigel Gearing, Secretary Robert Crouch and Competition Secretary Francis Wait have stepped down. Mr Flood will be paying fitting tributes to them for all their contributions to Anderida at the September meeting.
Brian Capron has agreed to be Anderida's new Patron, with John Newton taking over as Secretary and Richard Rewell becoming the new Competition Secretary.
