A bank has taken the cash machine in Southwater out of service after reports of a scam.
People on social media said they had money fraudulently withdrawn from their account after using the NatWest cash machine in Fairbank Road.
In a statement a spokesman for the bank confirmed they are aware of the reports and said the machine has been taken out of service ‘as a precaution’.
The statement in full said: “The bank is aware of the reports and has taken the ATM out of service as a precaution while investigations take place.”
