Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Worthing.
Officers responded to Montague Street at around 1.50am on 8 June where a man is believed to have been attacked by two men, police said.
The victim, a 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police have said.
Police confirmed that he has since been discharged.
Detectives are working to identify the two individuals involved in this assault and are appealing for additional witnesses who may have information.
