Man charged with St Leonards burglary and robbery offences

A man has been charged with a number of robbery and burglary offences in St Leonards, police have announced today (Thursday, October 27).

Police said officers were called to Oxford Road in the town on Saturday, October 8 over reports of a robbery and a man was subsequently arrested.

Sussex Police also said officers then later charged 29-year-old Liam Perry, of no fixed address, with robbery and with two counts of burglary at an address in the town on August 1 and August 6.

Perry was also charged with two counts of theft from an address in St Leonards on June 4 and July 22 this year, police added.

He appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, October 15, where he was remanded in custody after the hearing, police confirmed.

Sussex Police said Perry will next appear before Lewes Crown Court to answer the burglary and robbery charges on Monday, November 14.
