Traffic lights on a key route in and out of Haywards Heath are set to be refurbished with work starting next week.

This is required because the existing signals at the junctions at Muster Green and The Broadway are reaching the end of their lifespan, with replacement parts difficult to source.

The refurbishment will utilise the latest equipment for improved reliability and energy efficiency.

Work is due to start on Monday (March 8).
